We’re thrilled to announce that Erica Lenti is hosting the 6th annual—and first-ever virtual—Digital Publishing Awards winners’ celebration on June 11, 2021 at 4PM ET.
As acceptance speeches are the highlight of any awards show, we encourage all nominees to take part by using one of the three options below. Your acceptance speech should be around 30 seconds long, but aside from that, the stage is yours, so have fun!
Your family, friends and co-workers can watch the show in realtime on Facebook Live.
Option 1: Join the Zoom Video Meeting
Get yourself show-ready and give a live acceptance speech during our broadcast by joining our Zoom meeting.
Join the Zoom meeting 30-60 minutes prior to the start of the show at 4PM ET, and be sure to use your Unique Participant’s Name (UPN) when you join, so we can identify you if you win. See below for instructions on how to change your name to your UPN. Contact us now if you have not yet received your UPN. Nominees may watch the show through Zoom and, if you win gold, you’ll be brought on to the virtual stage to offer a live acceptance speech by video.
Note: Multiple people can accept a single award by sharing the same UPN to access the Zoom Meeting.

Changing your name to your UPN in a Zoom meeting is easy: To change your name after entering a Zoom meeting, click on the “Participants” button at the top of the Zoom window. Next, hover your mouse over your name in the “Participants” list on the right side of the Zoom window. Click on “Rename”. Enter your Unique Participant’s Name in the Zoom meeting and click on “OK”.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you plan to join the Winners’ Celebration by Zoom meeting.
Option 2: Join Zoom by Phone
Zoom also provides a dial-in number if you prefer to give an audio-only acceptance speech. You simply dial the provided number and enter the meeting access code and password when prompted:

Option 3: Pre-recorded Acceptance Speech
All nominees are invited to send in their acceptance speech. Should you receive a Gold award, your pre-recorded video will be incorporated into our awards show. This video should be around 30 seconds long, but aside from that, the stage is yours so have fun!
Please let us know as soon as possible whether you would like to send us a pre-recorded video acceptance speech or whether you would like to join us live on Zoom should you win Gold. If you’re planning to send a pre-recorded acceptance speech, please send us your video by Tuesday, June 8 at midnight.
To help bring this year’s celebration to the industry across the country, the Foundation is requesting apay-what-you-can donation (we suggest $25) in lieu of ticket costs. As a small charitable organization, these donations are vital to the Foundation’s ability to honour this year’s winners and nominees through this virtual gala.
