We are pleased to announce the winners of the 8th annual Digital Publishing Awards, which were revealed at the soirée at Arcadian Court in Toronto on June 2, 2023. The DPA soirée saw Gold and Silver winners presented in 24 various categories, with Gold winners in individual creator categories each receiving a $500 cheque. Host Anita Li opened the soirée by reminding the attendees that the night was about celebrating every story nominated. Whether these stories were meant to entertain, educate, inspire, or maybe a bit of all three, they were told with craft and care, and we were so thrilled to celebrate them all this evening.

The Reader’s Digest Foundation of Canada contributes financially to the support of university-level journalism education as well as national organizations, such as Magazines Canada and the National Magazine Awards, directly involved in advancing fundamental journalistic principles and standards.
The Emerging Excellence Award honours an individual whose early work in Canadian digital publishing shows the highest degree of craft and promise. This award may recognize a writer, visual creator, designer, developer, publisher or other young professional who has demonstrated excellence and potential in one or more areas of Canadian digital publishing. This award is open to any individual under the age of 30.
