The National Media Awards Foundation (NMAF) is pleased to present the nominees for the 11th annual Digital Publishing Awards. Our panel of volunteer judges generously donated their time and expertise to evaluate hundreds of entries, helping us recognize excellence in the content and creation of Canadian digital media. From the judges’ deliberations, nearly 200 impressive finalists have emerged. Join us in congratulating all of this year’s nominees!


Meet the Host of the 2026 Digital Publishing Awards

The National Media Awards Foundation is pleased to announce that Alison Northcott will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the 11th Annual Digital Publishing Awards. A bilingual writer, editor and communications specialist based in Montreal, Alison has nearly two decades of multiplatform journalism experience at CBC. She currently serves as a senior public relations advisor at The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The 11th Annual Digital Publishing Awards will take place on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Arcadian Court, Toronto.

David Beers to receive 2026 Digital Publishing Leadership Award

The NMAF is delighted to announce that David Beers, the founding editor of The Tyee and editor-in-chief, is the recipient of the 2026 Digital Publishing Leadership Award, which is the highest individual honour the Digital Publishing Awards can bestow.
